Dr. Jennifer O'Day is a Board Certified Adult and Forensic Psychiatrist.

After completing her psychiatry residency at UCLA/San Fernando Valley in 2007, Dr. O'Day went on to complete a Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship at UCLA in 2008.  She is board certified in Adult and Forensic Psychiatry and has taught forensic fellows from UCLA and UC Irvine.

 

Over the past 10 years she has been treating forensic and civilly committed psychiatric patients in an inpatient setting, treating outpatient psychiatric patients in a community clinic, performing psychopharmacologic consultations on complex cases, giving educational lectures, and providing resources and guidance to physicians across the state.  She has written peer review journal articles and has been a speaker at nationally recognized psychiatric and forensic conferences including the American Psychiatric Association Annual Meeting and the American Academy of Forensic Sciences Annual Meeting.  

Dr. O'Day is a physician who is certified by California Division of Workers’ Compensation Medical Unit to examine injured workers. Her training and wealth of experience enable her to evaluate disability claims and write medical-legal reports that give clear guidance to help claims be processed and settled.

Dr. O'Day is able to fully and fairly assess complex and challenging issues, and provide written and supportable opinions that help move a case towards being finalized. Her reports are known for their clarity and ease of comprehension while being timely and detailed. Her work represents "substantial medical evidence" and bears significant weight.

Dr. O'Day is a premier provider of Forensic Psychiatry QMEs in Southern California.
